Crypto.com App: buying, funding and product boundaries

The App, Exchange, card and other Crypto.com products have separate workflows and costs. A single brand does not make their pricing interchangeable.

The App is a distinct product

The official App guide describes cryptocurrency purchases, a cash account, transfers, external-wallet withdrawals, card management and security settings. The Exchange is a separate order-book product; Exchange maker/taker schedules are not the App’s simple-purchase quote.

This guide covers the App’s documented spot workflow. Earn, derivatives, card benefits and any prediction-market product are separate decisions with different terms; availability of one does not establish access to all of them.

How funds move through the documented interface

The App guide separates crypto deposits from cash deposits. The latter require setting up the cash account. Withdrawals can route to an external wallet after adding/confirming the destination, or to a cash-account workflow. Network choice and asset support matter for crypto transfers.

The guide also describes a 24-hour withdrawal-lock security setting and an in-app Fees & Limits area. A displayed balance across several App products is not necessarily the same as immediately withdrawable cash.

What can be stated about cost

Crypto.com’s purchase-fee article dated July 20, 2026 says an admin fee may apply to buying, selling or transacting in crypto. It is assessed at the transaction time using factors including market conditions, promotions, volatility and liquidity, and is shown on the trade-preview screen before submission. This is a quote-dependent published policy, not a fixed App percentage.

The same article warns of possible card-issuer international or merchant-category charges. The Exchange is a separate pricing product and does not establish the App’s rate. Compare the final cash amount and asset quantity, plus funding/withdrawal costs, instead of importing an Exchange maker/taker rate.

Who should research this workflow

The App is relevant to a reader who wants its integrated purchase, transfer and cash-account workflow and can evaluate the final quote. An order-book user should compare the Exchange separately where that exact product is eligible. Coinbase’s simple/Advanced distinction offers a similar warning against brand-level pricing.

We inspected official purchase-fee and interface documentation, not a funded account. An individual execution quote and live withdrawal test are outside this review; no service-performance rating or product-wide endorsement is assigned.

The App is not the Exchange

A Crypto.com App quote is the relevant purchase evidence here. Exchange order-book fees, derivatives and other branded services cannot be transplanted into an App purchase. Compare payment currency debited and net asset units received before considering a transfer.
